Another Adventure!

Jace Jace Jace! Its always something with this kid all though we are impressed that he made it this long without a broken bone! What happened you ask! Monkey bars happened he loves to swing across those bars! We went to the park with some friends and Jace jumps up to show his friend Jack how well he does the monkey bars back and forth he goes. Jace tried to get jack to try it but he was not interested! After several rounds Jace jumps up to grab the bar he got one hand on and couldn't hold on and came crashing down! He scraped his cheek pretty good and grabbed his arm an started crying( He falls all the time and never cries so I new it really hurt) so we went home and cleaned the sand out of his scrape and iced his arm but we weren't sure if we should take him in so we let him sleep on it. The next morning Jace couldn't lift the spoon to eat his cereal. It was off to the pediatrician who sent us for an x-ray( He was so excited about seeing his bones!) that confirmed it was a buckle fracture! Next we had to see a orthopedic Dr. to get his cast. So Jace insisted that I draw on the cast my flames need help but the NO monkey bars symbol was a good touch I thought. Now anyone who has had a cast knows they get real stinky well I thought it took longer then it did to get so smelly but its disgusting!
